Duties and Responsibilities:
- To work under supervision of AITAA President, and to assist the Executive Secretary, and other members of the AITAA Executive Committee.
- Performs all administrative duties such as filing, handling daily correspondences, coordinating logistics for meetings and other activities, collating documents for meetings/workshops, taking and preparing minutes, coordinating and preparing documentation, and other administrative responsibilities as may be assigned by the AITAA Executive Officers.
- Assists the AITAA Finance Officer in handling office accounts, and maintaining proper records/financial ledgers.
- Supports the AITAA Executive Officer(s) on joint efforts/activities with other units at AIT.
- Assists/performs all AITAA undertakings as may be assigned by the AITAA Executive Officers.
- Be able to travel to the countries in Asia in which Governing Board Meeting (GBM) is held once a year, to assist AITAA and the host Chapter in organizing the GBM.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- With at least 3 years of experience in administrative job
- 25 – 35 years old
- Female, preferably (but not limited to) Thai Nationality
- With knowledge and skill in use of the following:
- Microsoft Office Programs
- Internet (email; web page; mailing list)
- Database (encoding and retrieval)
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Familiar with the use of office equipment
- Very good interpersonal skills and have initiative/ability to undertake responsibilities independently with general supervision and guidance from the AITAA Executive Committee
- Knowledge on accounting procedures, and AIT Procedures (travel, finance, purchase, admissions and others) will be an added advantage
- Experience in working in multicultural environment an added advantage
