The Computer Science and Information Management (CSIM) program in the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) invites applications for a faculty position at the assistant professor or associate professor level in all areas of computer science and information management.  Candidates able to teach postgraduate courses in information systems and business process management are especially encouraged to apply.  The position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been found.  The successful candidate may start work in the August 2016 semester.

Job Description

The position is for a full-time faculty member with the following responsibilities:

• Teaching in CSIM’s postgraduate, undergraduate, and short-term training programs

• Supervising postgraduate student research and undergraduate senior projects

• Attracting research grants from the public and private sectors

• Developing new curricula

• Performing outreach activities

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in computer science, information systems, information management, or a related field

• Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research

• Strong publication record demonstrating ability to perform independent research

• Preferred areas of teaching and research: information system development, human computer interaction, software engineering.
