Main Scope work
Facilities Officer works with Campus Maintenance Group under Office of Facilities and Asset Management, for coordinating work of outsourcers hired for Infrastructure and Facilities Operation and Maintenance.
- Follow up the delayed Work Orders and report to the supervisor for appropriate action.
- Generate monthly reports based on facilities survey and campus survey with maintenance requirements.
- Report to the authorities on the quality of the work executed by the outsourcers
- Directing and planning essential services during special events of with respect to arrangements, security, maintenance and cleaning, catering, waste disposal.
- Coordinate with all the outsourcer under OFAM including maintenance, grounds and security
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
- Coordinate with the requester and also the representatives of the outsourcers to make sure that the request are executed efficiently.
- Closely monitor the preventive maintenances done by the contracted outsourcers as the planned monthly schedule.
- Make certain all customer complaints that are called in routed properly and solved on time.
- Regularly inspect the campus areas and report issues in each area of service to the supervisor
- Ensures that all safety measures and standards, all hygiene measures and standards are strictly observed and followed by outsourcing partners.
Other Scope of work
- Assist the immediate Supervisor in various activities of Facilities and Infrastructure Management.
- Assist in development of Terms of Reference (TOR), Contracts, Expression of Interest (EOI) and Reports.
- Maintain the Monthly Reports and bills of the outsourcers, PEA, PWA, Municipality and others as needed.
- Assist in developing new projects and regularly survey the campus for developments.
- Should be able to write any official letters especially in Thai.
- Assist the Supervisor on documentation of all the activities related to contract management.
- Assist in reporting the activities associated with various committees of AIT.
- Should be ready to replace Call Center staff duty whenever assigned by the Supervisor
- Flexible to work extra hours if required and follow the instructions of the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management or Engineering.
- 1-2 years relevant experience in Facilities and Infrastructure Management or Industrial experience or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai
- Able to read and write English will be added advantage.
- Ability to adapt to new systems and organize information.
- Working knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
- Should be a Thai Nationality
