General Summary:
Senior Technician generally works alongside faculty members in Environmental Engineering and Management Field of Study and other technicians, organizing the lab workspace, maintaining cleanliness of equipment, creating chemical solutions, performing chemical experiments, and provide technical support to professionals, either as part of a team or individually.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Public Health or related field.
- Ability to organize data collection and processing.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good basis English is required for communication.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to maintain procedures and directions for laboratory work.
- General maintenance of laboratory equipment and related machines.
- Assists students in laboratory experimental work and experimental set-up.
- Install and maintain computer systems connected to the lab equipment.
- Inventory record keeping of glassware, chemical and other lab equipment.
- Analyzing environmental-related parameters and making laboratory reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
