Scope of Work:
- Dedicated to administer the project and outreach activities, financial reporting, record keeping of finances, communications with partners, and maintain the information flow within the Program, institute and with outside.
- Assist in initiating and maintaining the project requirements, assist in coordinating and organizing of special events like conferences, workshops and seminars
- Support promotion activities for student admission, respond to the inquiries related to new academic programs and professional competencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works under general supervision of the Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems Degree Program Committee Chairs of, who assigns work and reviews work after completion. Duties include but not limited to:
- Responsible for routing of official documents and maintain classified and sensitive functional filling system
- Ensures maintenance of a log of all project and event-related correspondence and ensure necessary follow-up
- Liaise and maintain a positive working relationship with other units within the Institute
- Prepare travel arrangement and documents like RTA, RRTE for all faculty and staff related to project activities
- Assist in initiating and maintaining the project requirements, assist in coordinating and organizing of special events like conferences, workshops and seminars
- Prepare budget of project activities and keep track of income and expenditures
- Responsible for setting reimbursement; purchasing of all project stationeries, laboratory equipment using the ERP system; recruiting
- Handles a wide range of administrative duties and perform activities related to project management
- Any other duties as assigned by the faculties and staff
- Plan with coordinator the promotion activities for enhancing student intake both in academic and outreach
Required Qualifications:
Mandatory
- At least a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree would be preferred but not required.
- Capable and practiced in handling complex and/or multi-faceted tasks
- Flexible, resourceful, dependable, well-organized, friendly, emotionally mature and professional
- Computer literate, well-versed with Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
- Good problem-solving skill;
- Good command of English
Desirable
- Familiar with basic accounting and ERP system of AIT
- Communication in Thai
- Knowledge in financial management
- Knowledge in understanding relevant policies and procedures related to the unit and its projects
- Good interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with people of various nationalities
- Systematic, accurate, conscientious and good at follow-up
- Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritize work
