The Asian Institute of Technology Center in Vietnam (AITCV), founded in 1993, is an integral part of AIT and operates in accord with the policies and procedures of AIT and the provisions of the agreement between AIT and the Government of Vietnam. AITCV provides access to our world-class brand of education in Vietnam. 

AIT seeks an experienced leader for the position of Director of AITCV.  He/she will represent AIT in Vietnam and will be responsible for business development and overseeing all AIT activities in Vietnam, including: (1) market research on academic and professional training needs and opportunities in Vietnam; (2) designing (in consultation with relevant AIT Schools) appropriate academic and professional training programs; and (3) recruiting for, and managing in a fiscally sound manner, academic and training programs.  In addition, the Director of AITCV is expected to develop other business opportunities such as consulting.  He/she will liaise and maintain good relations with relevant AIT units, with Vietnamese entities, with AIT alumni and other interests in Vietnam.  Finally, the Director will implement other tasks as assigned by the AIT President.  The Director will report to the AIT President.

The successful candidate must have a sound academic background (preferably, a doctoral degree), regional knowledge and standing in the region, including in Vietnam. S/he should have at least ten years of experience with a proven track record in off-shore business development for reputable educational institutions.
