Position: Program Officer for Bangabandhu Chair Research & Outreach (PO-BCRO)

Areas of Work: Research and Outreach

1. Duties and Responsibilities

The PO-BCRO will assist Bangabandhu Chair Professor (BBCP) by providing administrative support in addressing the following objectives/activities: 

1. Promote the work done under the umbrella of Bangabandhu Chair at AIT and enhance visibility of the academic activities under the endowment program on various digital platforms 
2. Design and develop content for digital creative materials such as banners, flyers, newsletters, etc. 
3. Maintain and monitor social media platforms through dynamic up-to-date content on various digital channels such as Google, Facebook, YouTube ads, etc. 
4. Work under the direct supervision of Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy
5. PO-BCRO will also contribute to the research support in data management, writing reports and e-mails, and assist in event management (organizing dialogues, workshops, meetings, webinars, etc.) and as per the evolving needs of the research and other related tasks.

2. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree holder with at least three years of work experience in the relevant areas of responsibility
• ​​Must have strong knowledge of content management system (CMS) such as WordPress, etc., and good understanding of Google Analytics & SEO techniques.
• Prior experience in website designing, web content writing, designing digital creatives, search engine marketing (SEM) & social media marketing is a must.
• ​Ability to work with various stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for technical and non-technical report writing.
• Professional degree in Digital marketing would be an advantage
