Scope:

The Business Development Officer of AIT Solutions (AITS) shall be responsible to the Unit Head of the Business Development Unit and shall do the following functions:

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee project initiatives and attend meetings.
  2. Communicate with AIT experts and professionals involved in the development of projects.
  3. Discuss issues related to project management, project delivery, keeping notes about the project progress for the projects/initiatives assigned by the Unit Head or the Executive Director.
  4. Be able to relay information and take actions as required to support the projects or initiatives assigned.
  5. Work independently with the clients and keep the team informed about ongoing discussions with the clients.
  6. Develop Expression of Interest, Concept Notes, Project Proposals, Promotional Materials and Presentations.
  7. Assist other units of AITS with their ongoing projects when needed.
  8. Participate in meetings and seminars related to business development of AITS.
  9. Develop any report, analysis, or presentation requested by the Unit Head or the Executive Director.
  10. Coordinate the seminars, training and knowledge sharing activities with the speakers and participants.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate:

  1. Must have a Master Degree in any related field.
  2. He or she must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, initiative and independence in working on projects.
  3. He/she must be able to work independently, communicate in English effectively and be available to deliver requested reports in a timely manner.
  4. Must be accountable, responsive and dependable, and represent AITS in a professional manner.
  5. Prior experience working with AIT centers/ department is desirable.
